In addition to the numerous places to shop and dine, Stowe offers a variety of activities for every season and every age group. From the best skiing in the east to championship golf courses, visitors have wide range of activities to enjoy.

During the winter season, alpine skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, sled rides, and snowshoeing are available daily. Stowe also offers a multitude of shops and exhibits that offer the work of local artists and crafters.

In the summer, guests can test their skills on area golf courses, enjoy miles of bike trails, soar over the mountains, canoe local rivers, hike numerous mountain trails, try the water slide, or find a cozy spot to read a good book. The autumn season offers spectacular foliage, crisp fall weather for hikes, and local events like the Stowe Crafts Fair. It is a great time to pack the camera and go for a hike to take in the rainbow of colors in our mountain forests.
