The Stowe Winter Carnival is back for another year!

Tour the town during the Stowe Winter Carnival while watching Professional Ice Carvers create elegant and masterful Ice carvings throughout the village on Demonstration Day and experience the Annual Ice Carving Competition Day. Don’t miss this event, ranked No. 5 by Country Living as one of the “15 Best Winter Festival All Across the U.S.”

Schedule of Events

• January 18, 5-7 p.m. at The Alchemist: Opening night with Sip N’ Chip Ice Carving Class and Competition
  • Teams of up to four or individuals
  • $100 per space

• January 19
  • 9 a.m.-6 p.m.: Town-Wide Ice Carving Demo Day and Ice Carving Stroll
  • 7 p.m. at Stowe Cider: Annual Ice Carvers Welcoming Party and Registration
• January 20
  • 11 a.m.-7 p.m. at The Alchemist: Annual Ice Carving Competition Day
  • Tour de Stowe: Classic Cross-Country Ski Tours at Trapp Outdoor Center
    • Register by January 17
  • 3-5 p.m. at Stowe Elementary School: Kids Carnival Chaos
  • 7:30 p.m. at Rimrocks Tavern: Ice Carving Awards Parties

To celebrate the upcoming Stowe Winter Carnival the Mountainside Resort at Stowe will be hosting a few of the many talented ice carvers. There will be a live carving at the property with complimentary hot coffee, tea and cocoa.
